An FAA Certified Repair Station, Thornton Aviation offers a complete array of services for your Falcon including scheduled and AOG support. Thornton Aviation performs all hourly, calendar, major and special airframe inspections, including the mandated dry bay modification. We manage landing gear overhauls, too.
We have also been expanding our avionics and cabin connectivity offerings including full blown flight deck and complete cabin management system upgrades. In fact, we’re becoming well known for installing Universal InSight systems in Falcon flight decks. This aircraft was equipped with Universal FMSs, whereas the STC certification aircraft featured Collins FMSs. This difference led us to perform several deviations, including those related to the transponders and TAWS. The team worked diligently to address and resolve these challenges as well as other discrepancies identified during operational testing.
